All About Me!

My "About Me" page is a little insite into my life and who I am.



Who Am I?

My name is Tammy Healan. I live in Northern Michigan with my boyfriend and our five kids. Yes, if you're thinking it's a houseful, your right! I am the author of a children's book, "I Live Inside Your Head." It's not as psychotic as it sounds. It's actually an educational book for preschoolers to first grade, about the basic functions of the brain.

What I Do For A Living

Of course I write. I also work in a retail store. In the Summer I vendor healthy energy drinks, while still writing and working in the retail store.

My Hobbies

Of course my first hobby is writing. I also love to read. I like going for walks and hanging out at the park with my kids. I wish I could say exercising was a hobby, but it's just not. I love coffee shops and could hang out for hours in them. On my spare time I go to local schools and libraries and read my book to all the little kids.

What Makes Me Sad

I am most sad when my kids are sad. I hate feeling like there's something more that I could do to make them feel better when they're down. I try to take everyday one day at a time and make the best of it.

My Goals

My main goal is to be able to stay home with my kids and finish watching them grow. I also intend on getting more of my children's books published!
