Fun Easy After School Snacks:

After school snacks don't have to seem complicated. Most of them you just need a few simple ingredients. Look through your pantry and make up some of your own family fun recipes. Better yet, let the kids make up a few. You might be surprised at what they come up with.

Homemade Ice Cream Sandwiches

Homemade ice cream sandwiches are my kids' all time favorite! They are great to add to your family fun recipes collection. They're simple to make and fun to eat!

Ingredients:

cookies (Can be any kind. My family likes simple chocolate chip cookies the best.)

Your favorite ice cream (We either use french vanilla or mint chocolate chip.)

Make up a batch of cookies and let them cool.

After they've cooled put a scoop of ice cream on one cookie, then sandwich it with another cookie, pressing firmly to squish the ice cream a little.

You can eat them right away, or put them in freezer baggies and stick them in the freezer till you're ready to eat them.

Enjoy!

Cheese Snackers:

Ingredients:

toothpicks
cheese cubs
pitted olives (green or black)

Slide a cheese cube on the toothpick, then slide on an olive

Repeat process until toothpick is full

My daughter loves to add grapes instead of olives. Be creative, that's what it's all about!

Graham Crackers & Frosting

It's as easy as it sounds. All you need is graham crackers and your favorite frosting.

Get a butter knife and spread the frosting on a cracker. Sandwich it with another graham cracker and you got yourself an awesome snack everyone will enjoy!

PB&J Cut-Outs

All you need is peanut butter, jelly and a few cookie cutters.

Make up some peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and let the kids have a ball cutting out there own shapes.
