Do you ever feel like you need a little self help motivation in your life? Do your days seem to run together like one long never ending day? Are you overwhelmed with work, kids, school, household chores, family pets, dinner etc ... The list goes on ... Are there things you want to achieve but can't find the time or motivation to make them happen?

We often find ourselves putting more on our plate than we can possibly ever handle. We're so busy taking care of everyone else, we forget to take care of ourselves.

Sometimes it's good to just, well, do something for yourself. Something that makes you feel good. We all know when you're happy, so is everyone else. Even if it's just a few daily words of inspiration to wake up to. Or a book to read, even if you can only find 15 minutes in your day. Maybe it's an hour a week at a gym. Or maybe it's just someone to talk to.

Spending more quality time with your family? Achieving more at work? Thirsting to be a stay at home mom? Exercise? It can be anything and there's nothing wrong with wanting to make positive changes in your life.

Make some goals for yourself


Make them reasonable, yet challenging. Every goal reached is better appreciated when there's a little challenge to face. Get a notepad and write them down.


Reward yourself
Whenever you reach a goal you deserve a little reward. It doesn't have to be anything expensive. Maybe a trip to the local ice cream shop, or a new self help book. Could you use a new outfit, or a haircut? How about a movie night with your significant other? That way you get some alone, bonding time.

Read a self help book
15 minutes a day is all you really need. Positive words bring positive results. Imagine going the entire day without one positive thing being said to you. How do you feel at the end of the day? How do those feelings affect your family or your productivity?

Try to associate yourself with positive people as often as possible I know sometimes it's hard at work. That's why it's good to fill your brain with positive quotes and words of encouragement. Being around negative people can turn you into a negative person without you even realizing it. The same goes if your a positive person. Soon you'll rub off on others. Re-evaluate your life

Keep moving forward
Never give up and settle for the "status quo." Things don't have to be the way they are if you're not happy with it. Positive changes can be made and it's never too late, no matter what your age. Everyone deserves to be happy, including you!
